Tools, responsibility, and clarity
AI Policy
AI can help develop an idea or create an illustration. Responsibility for what appears on StoriKix remains with StoriKix. This policy explains the role of these tools and the boundaries that guide their use.

Where AI fits in our work
StoriKix uses AI-assisted tools in developing written content, interactive formats, and visual material. These tools can help explore story ideas, organize a draft, suggest ways to explain a concept, develop a picker or quiz, and generate illustrations.
AI assistance is a method of production. The value of a story still depends on its usefulness, clarity, and basis in reliable information. A polished answer or an appealing image is not, by itself, a reason to publish it.
Accuracy remains an editorial responsibility
AI systems can produce confident errors, invented references, misleading summaries, and visual inconsistencies. An AI-generated response is not an independent source for a factual claim.
Checkable details must be considered against appropriate sources. A link should support the point attached to it; a quotation must have a real source; a recommendation should explain its basis. When a claim cannot be established, it should be qualified or left out.
StoriKix remains responsible for its published work and for addressing errors. The broader standards for recommendations, sourcing, and corrections are set out in How We Create.
Illustrations are not documentation
The StoriKix collection includes AI-generated illustrations. These images help establish atmosphere, introduce a subject, or give a story a visual setting. They do not document a real visit, purchase, product test, meal, or event.
Generated imagery should be reviewed for misleading details, including distorted objects, impossible anatomy, invented text, and inaccurate depictions of a subject. If a visual cannot represent the story clearly, it should be revised, replaced, or removed.
The StoriKix logo mark identifies our visual presentation. It is branding, not a certification that an image is a photograph or proof of a firsthand experience.
Give readers the context they need
This policy provides a publication-wide explanation of AI use at StoriKix. A story or visual should also identify AI involvement where that context materially affects how a reader would understand the work.
A generated or substantially altered image must not be presented as documentary evidence. Synthetic scenes should not imply that StoriKix visited a location, used a product, interviewed a person, or witnessed an event when that did not happen. Captions, image descriptions, and surrounding copy should support the same understanding.
Boundaries for AI-assisted work
- No invented authority: do not fabricate experts, interviews, quotations, studies, citations, testimonials, or firsthand experiences.
- No fabricated audience: do not invent reader votes, popularity figures, reviews, or community agreement.
- No misleading endorsements: do not use a synthetic likeness or statement to suggest a real person supports a story, product, or brand.
- Respect creative work: AI assistance does not remove the need to consider source attribution, permissions, and the rights of other creators.
- Keep judgment visible: explain the basis and limits of recommendations instead of presenting an AI result as an unquestionable conclusion.
What this means for interactive cards
The current pickers, quizzes, polls, and rankings use the choices and logic built into their stories. They are not live conversations with an AI model. Results are suggestions within that story, and personal votes do not become a community tally.
The feed does not submit your saved finds, reading progress, or interactive answers to an AI model. Those reader preferences are stored in your browser as described in our Privacy notice.
Flag an error or a misleading image
If a story contains an inaccurate AI-assisted detail, a problematic image, an attribution issue, or unclear disclosure, email hello@dynakat.co with StoriKix AI concern in the subject.
Include the story address, the particular passage or image, and a short explanation. If a reliable source helps establish the problem, include it. Concerns are handled through the editorial corrections process.
Keeping this policy current
This policy applies to StoriKix's use of AI-assisted work. It may change as our tools, formats, and practices develop. The updated date identifies the current version. Changes to reader information or data practices are addressed in the Privacy notice.
